Gentle Yoga and Sound Healing

Join us for a beautiful experience in the lovely San Carlos Community Garden. Nicole teaches a heart based restorative yoga class that aligns beautifully with Liz’s otherworldly voice and variety of instruments – singing bowls, native drum, koshi chimes etc. Nicole has a deeply rooted practice and has embraced yoga since the early 90’s, teaching since 2009 and loving it. Liz discovered her gift of sound healing 9 years ago and has been sharing it in yoga classes, private sessions and sacred ceremonies ever since. They have been involved at San Carlos Community Garden since May of 2020 and enjoy growing food and flowers in their 2 plots.

More info on its facilitators can be found at:

Reflections of the Experience

Nicole & Liz provide what can only be described as a “magical” experience! In this beautiful outdoor garden space, you are treated to an hour of gentle yoga, really allowing you to connect with your body & stretch & move in ways that just feel delicious! Meanwhile, Liz sings & plays these amazing bowls & drums, bathing you in healing & a sense of pure bliss as the tones wash over you. Lying there & experiencing this in Nature surrounded by the sun, gentle breeze, & birdsong make this a not-to-be-missed journey into self-care & rejuvenation. Don’t wait: this is one of the best hours you will spend & wonderful treat for yourself!

Nicole and Liz’s garden experience of gentle yoga and sound healing is soul medicine. The tranquil setting of being in the garden, outside in the oxygenated air and laying on Mama Gaia is the perfect setting for gentle movement while receiving the magic of sound healing. Nicole guides movement with such love and Liz’s voice and instrumental talent is pure joy. The experience is soul nurturing!

What can I say, the past year has been rough on everyone.   Being able to do yoga has helped a lot.  When Nicole and Liz offered yoga in the San Carlos Community Garden I jumped on it.  Being outdoors and doing yoga is so refreshing.  While doing yoga there, the calmness of the garden’s atmosphere was comforting along with the beautiful views of Cowles Mountain grounded me.  It was an amazing reprieve.  I’d suggest to get your yoga equipment and experience it!
