Join Master Gardener Greg Alder for Orchard Care, a hands-on pruning workshop for pome fruits (apples, pears) and stone fruits (peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums). We’ll study how trees responded to past cuts, learn where each type forms flowers, compare pruning tools and cuts, and explore tree height and shape styles (like open center).
