Rewilding Urban Landscapes with Polyculture

This exciting workshop will introduce the concept of polyculture as an approach for bringing healthy soils, carbon sequestration, pollinator habitat and water conservation to our urban yards and parks. Led by Dwelling on Carbon’s Executive Director, Rosalind Haselbeck, participants will learn how polyculture lawns and meadows can mitigate the carbon cycle, urban heat, and storm water issues. Participants will have the opportunity test the health and viability of your own soil and will get to see different seed mixes to visualize the variation in size, shape, color and texture.
